SALES Estimator - Residential or Commercial Construction

$7.5mm/year residential construction company that specializes in insurance work wants to diversify.

Seeks late-career, fully formed SALES Estimator who has an existing network and system for attracting and closing profitable, quality business.
We are open to you if you've got true talent, experience, and would do well in a small office environment with others. We are a business that values integrity and quality work, with a field staff of 15 and office staff of 10.

If you have the professional talent to generate business and you value a stable and drama-free work environment, we'd like to meet you.
Our average project is $175,000 and can range from $75,000-$1.2mm doing full reconstruction of extensively water, fire, or impact-damaged buildings - we complete 40-50 projects per year. This means that we have a broad base - we touch all aspects of homes aside from foundation work (which is unusual, but we can subcontract that). We want to supplement our curent business with non-insurance funded work so that we diversify ourselves a bit.

We're also open to an alternate line of specialty business - ADU's, expansions, upgrades, etc.

Please know this: We have been burned by the Big Hat, No Cattle people who interview well but are not who they say that they are.
Please present your credentials and talents but expect us to follow up very carefully - if you have skeletons from your closet chasing you, we're NOT your best bet because we will spot them and decline to work with you immediately.

Pay is fair and commensurate to experience, 401k, health, fuel card, and a healthy work and management structure.
HQ is in San Leandro.
This position is in-office and not a WFH/remote position unless you'd like to discuss a 100% commission arrangement where you're no burden up front and pay is completely results-oriented. We'd prefer a salaried person though.
We have traditionally served Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, but open to others if there is a sustainable business model that gets us over bridges and back without losing our shirt in the process.
