The Town of Marana is seeking a Project Manager - CIP to work in the Public Works Department. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in having a direct impact on designing and constructing the Town of Maranas public infrastructure projects. This position manages the design and construction phases of the Capital Improvement Program projects.

The Town offers a competitive benefits package:

Expected Hiring Range: $70,538.94 $88,173.38

Placement within the expected hiring range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity, and/or budget

Examples of Duties:

• Develops new projects by scoping, cost estimating, scheduling, and budgeting. Prepares project submittal into the CIP program.
• Manages design projects by procuring and managing consultants; reviewing and tracking consultant work for compliance with the project scope; tracking project budget; accepting review of project design deliverables; and approving design changes and RFI requests
• Manages construction projects by overseeing the construction process, negotiating and managing contracts, tracking the budget, overseeing the construction budget, and reviewing pay applications.
• Coordinates with the project team, including inspectors. Completes project closeouts and warranty.
• Reviews project documents such as geotechnical, hydrology, environmental, and traffic study results; inspects material and contract submittals for compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Over three years in civil engineering design, construction, or a related field
• Valid Arizona Driver License
• Ability to pass both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check

An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
