Handyman and Aging in Place Technician

We are a trusted home improvement company specializing in residential repairs , remodeling , and aging-in-place modifications . Our mission is to help all homeowners with repairs and updates to their homes with a special focus on seniors and individuals, with mobility challenges, live safely and independently in their homes.

Were currently hiring a skilled Handyman/Home Improvement Technician with hands-on experience in accessibility upgrades and home safety modifications .

Key Responsibilities:

• Typical home repairs from drywall, doors, door frames, floors, etc.
• Install grab bars , handrails, and other safety equipment in bathrooms, stairways, and hallways
• Perform bathtub cut-outs and tub-to-shower conversions
• Widen door frames for wheelchair and walker accessibility
• Build and install ramps and low-threshold entries
• Install or coordinate installation of chair lifts and stair lifts
• Adjust cabinetry, sinks, and countertops for ease of use
• Handle general handyman tasks such as drywall, painting, light carpentry, minor plumbing/electrical
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend aging-in-place solutions
• Provide excellent customer servicemany of our clients are seniors or family caregivers
• Ensure all work is done to code and complies with ADA standards when applicable

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in handyman, carpentry, or home remodeling
• Experience with Aging-in-Place
• Own full set of tools to be used for work
• Skilled in use of power tools, hand tools, and home repair techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Professional, respectful, and dependable
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in active residential job sites
