POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading biomedical device company. This position will involve designing and developing electronic systems for cutting-edge medical devices. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

These may include but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for medical devices
  • Work on the design and integration of electromechanical systems
  • Create cable harnesses and wiring diagrams
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers, manufacturing and regulatory affairs
  • Document designs, test results, and processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations including safety and testing standards

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering plus 5 years industry experience
  • Proven experience in PCB design and development
  • Familiarity with electromechanical systems
  • Experience with cable harnessing and wiring diagrams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to express complicated technological ideas to non-technical groups
  • Life sciences experience with medical device specific to FDA regulated products a strong preference

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle)
  • Circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE)
  • Experience with test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters)
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations, especially for electromagnetic interference

The base range for this role is $130,000-$150,000 per yea r. Individual pay may vary based on additional factors, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, work location, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, Genaltye provides generous benefits, equity opportunities, and for some roles, participation in our annual target bonus plan.
