Traveling Superintendent

Job Title: Traveling Construction Superintendent – USPS Projects Location: Nationwide (Travel Required) Industry: Commercial / Federal Construction Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Traveling Superintendent with direct experience overseeing USPS (U.S. Postal Service) construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at managing multi-site, fast-paced federal or postal buildouts, renovations, and ground-up projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day field operations on USPS construction sites

• Oversee subcontractors, site safety, schedule, and quality control

• Ensure compliance with federal construction protocols and USPS standards

• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and inspectors to ensure on-time delivery

• Maintain accurate field documentation and reporting

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial/federal construction

• Proven experience managing USPS or federal government construction projects

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively

• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and scheduling

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Experience with government reporting systems (e.g., Procore, RMS, etc.)

• OSHA 30 Certification

• Familiarity with Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage projects
