Who you are:

Someone with experience operating large equipment including Loaders, Excavators, Yard Dump Trucks and other various pieces of equipment.

What you'll be doing:

• Safe operation of equipment
• Follows MSHA, EPA and all other applicable regulations
• Proper cleaning of equipment inside and outside
• Perform pre and post trip inspections
• Prepare Daily Inspection Reports
• Weekly and general vehicle maintenance (as per the Vehicle Maintenance Schedule)
• Plant/Yard maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Understand and observe Carroll Concrete Company's policies and procedures regarding customer relations
• Environmentally responsible always
• Attends and participates in weekly plant safety huddles
• Manual labor

Secondary Duties & Responsibilities

• Other duties and tasks as directed
• Always represent the company in a professional manner
• Work in a safe and efficient manner at all time

Desired Qualifications

Education: High School Education or equivalent

Skills:

• Must be dependable, a team player, have good communication skills and be safety conscious
• Must be able to work professionally with others and fosters a positive team environment
• Common sense, good judgement and willingness to work

Experience:

Equipment operating experience is a must

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must have a valid driver's license

A Commercial Driver's License is preferred

Restrictions:

• Must maneuver in and out of equipment safely
• Operate all equipment controls safely and accurately
• Perform multiple tasks of sustained viewing activity while operating equipment and maneuvering controls
• Must lift or maneuver up to 75lbs. multiple times throughout the workday
• Must perform manual labor throughout the workday
• Must work flexible hours, as necessary

Schedule: We guarantee 40 hours all year round! Voluntary layoff accepted. Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary. Some Saturday work required
