Hunter Industries is undertaking a significant ERP modernization to enhance our business systems across global operations. We’re hiring a Senior ERP Project Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of a large-scale cloud ERP implementation that supports critical functions such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and more.

*This role offers a hybrid schedule. The successful candidate must reside within a commutable distance to our San Marcos, CA headquarters.

About the Role

As the Senior ERP Project Manager, you will lead the day-to-day execution of a complex, multi-phase ERP implementation spanning multiple business units, legal entities, and international locations. You’ll guide the project from early planning through deployment and post-go-live support—partnering closely with internal teams, external vendors, and executive stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on cross-functional coordination, detailed planning, and risk management—requiring both strategic insight and strong execution discipline.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all phases of ERP project execution including planning, design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and success metrics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, IT, and the ERP vendor/system integrator.
  • Provide regular updates, dashboards, and risk assessments to program leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support effective decision-making through structured communications, meeting facilitation, and issue resolution.
  • Drive change management activities in partnership with functional leads and HR.
  • Ensure integration readiness, data migration alignment, and successful user acceptance testing.
  • This role will require periodic travel to key business locations, including Florida and Mexico, particularly during critical phases such as discovery, testing, and deployment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project management, including at least one full-cycle, cloud ERP implementation (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex enterprise projects with multiple workstreams, global users, and high strategic importance.
  • Strong understanding of ERP-enabled business processes—especially in finance, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing.
  • Track record of managing budgets, schedules, vendor partners, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with change management, end-user training, and adoption metrics.
  • A proactive mindset and high level of personal accountability, with the drive to see complex initiatives through to successful completion.

The salary for this opportunity ranges from $125,000 to $145,000

The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
