Industrial Electrician
Position type: Full-Time, Hourly
Pay Range: $36.78 per hour, 2nd shift position (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

What You'll Do
As an Electrician at Washington Mills you will be responsible for installing and maintaining the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems within the plant. The Electrician will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to communicate job details related to cost and safety. This person should be willing to work effectively with other department heads to address any electrical issues.
- Uses meters and other tools of the electrical trade to diagnose and repair electrical issues relating to electrical motors, control panels, fuses/breakers/disconnects and PLC's
- Understands and is able to interpret electrical schematics
- Works with the Electrical Engineer and mechanical trades to diagnose, repair and upgrade electrical equipment in a timely manner
- NFPA 70E training is required for employment and must be obtained through the employer
- Understands Industrial electrical controls, PLC's, and motor drives
- Maintains electrical motors, drives, controls, PLC's, encoders, switches, fuses/breakers, lighting, and wiring
- Understand AC and DC powered systems
- Crane repair experience is helpful but not a requirement
- Prepares systems for cold and warm weather operation
- Must be able to work from ladders, operate and work from scissor lifts and man lifts, lift and position up to 50 lbs. when required, stand for long periods of time when required

- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be able to work in a physical environment
- Have industrial electrical training and experience
- Work well in a team environment
- Have good communication, writing, and reading skills
