**Your Opportunity**
You will work on tasks under the guidance of a Senior Designer or Architect. Licensure is not required but it is expected to be part of your short-term goals.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
* Keeps the Project Manager informed of progress on expectations, deadlines, and deliverables that fall within their responsibility. Participate in team meetings, charrettes and coordination sessions.
* Assists in monitoring and coordination of consultant work and deadlines.
* Assist project teams in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.
* Utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.
* Prepare and revises documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details.
* Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
* Assist in contract administration tasks.
* Attend project coordination and meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.
* Implement sustainable design principles into the building design and surrounding environment.
* Assist in site analysis, research of concept, benchmarks, typology, and precedents.
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
* Capable of simultaneously supporting multiple Project Managers on multiple projects.
* General understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry associated standards.
* Comfortable working independently and takes direction well, however, proactively takes appropriate action without requiring continued direction. Manages multiple deadlines and priorities.
* Team player with the client, entire project team and contractor.
* Good communicator.
* Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, InDesign and Photoshop; Prefer experience with Enscape, SketchUP, Newforma.
**Education and Experience**
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
* 3-7 years of experience.
* LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.
