Construction Scheduler

Top Local General Contractor seeking to add a Project Scheduler with hands-on experience in Primavera P6 to support the planning and execution of commercial construction projects . This role is critical in developing and maintaining project schedules that drive timely delivery, mitigate risk, and support operational excellence.

Project Scheduler Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive schedules for commercial construction projects using Primavera P6

• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather input and maintain accurate schedules

• Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and analyze delays or variances

• Identify critical path activities and provide schedule risk assessments

• Generate regular reports, forecasts, and look-ahead schedules to support project decision-making

• Assist in schedule recovery planning and mitigation strategies when needed

• Ensure all scheduling work aligns with contract requirements and project goals

Project Scheduler Qualifications:

• 3+ years of scheduling experience in commercial construction

• Proficient in Primavera P6 (required)

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and project execution

• Experience building and updating baseline and resource-loaded schedules

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
