We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. This role requires knowledge of electrical systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety standards.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.

- Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC).

- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.

- Identify electrical problems using testing devices such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ammeters.

- Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.

- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

- Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

- Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.

- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local/state regulations.

- Proven experience as an electrician.

- Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and power tools.

- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a variety of environments (e.g., heights, confined spaces, outdoors).

**Experience:**

- Experience in metals manufacturing or heavy industry is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of electrical.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; elevated noise levels and vibration. Employee must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.
