[Marine Surveyor: DUTIES - Perform surveys, predominantly of existing ships, in accordance with Lloyd's Register Rules and Regulations and other applicable standards. Conduct thorough surveys and inspections and oversee the new construction process from inception to completion as per LR Rules and Regulations and other applicable procedures. Maintain strong project oversight by effectively communicating with clients, exercising financial control, and delivering accurate and timely reporting. Deal with statutory surveys and certification and where applicable liaise with Flag or Port State Surveyors. Ensure reporting in accordance with corporate requirements and timescales to achieve tartest set for key performance indicators. Discuss/present deliverables with the external client and be able to suggest alterative solutions where appropriate. Assess/recommend the time/value of the work to be undertake for an external client within an agreed fee/cost structure. Assist in service delivery improvement by communicating internal/external client feedback as appropriate. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards. Pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness. Participate in and contribute to specific job training as directed. Give guidance to other employees, as appropriate, and disseminate information to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application, to coach new and basic surveyors. [MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: *Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Naval Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) Master vessel's machinery and electrical equipment working principle and commissioning procedure and requirement; (2) working with rules' requirements involving International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations for shipping industry; (3) Practical field experience with marine machineries, equipment and structure; (4) Practical experience with ship's machineries operation and maintenance as well as troubleshooting; (5) ship's machinery, including surveys of main and auxiliary engines, and electrical equipment and control engineering. Further, 2 years experience stated herein to involve: (a) surveys and inspections of existing ships and routine/repair surveys of in-service vessels; and (b) knowledge of ship operation, machinery maintenance and survey cycle and drydocking.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
