Press Brake Operator - Paying up to $26/hr! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team on the first shift. The candidate will operate Vystronic and Amada brake presses, which are 100 and 150 ton presses. The ideal candidate will be able to set up and run their own machine efficiently. Responsibilities Plan sequence of bends and program CNC control accordingly. Select and position proper tooling into ram and bed of the machine. Lift and position the workpiece between dies of the machine. Start the machine to lower the ram, which bends the workpiece between dies. Reposition the workpiece and change dies when making multiple or successive passes. Hand form or finish with other equipment in the area. Inspect finished workpieces to ensure quality. Essential Skills Experience with press brake operation, specifically Bystronic 100 ton and 150 ton presses. Ability to set up machines with proper metal gauge ranging from 11 gauge to 1/4 inch. Skill in selecting and installing proper tooling. Proficiency in part inspection and using measurement tools like tape measures and micrometers. Understanding of blueprint reading. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CNC, punch press, and brake operations. Capability to conduct 1st article inspections. The role involves using advanced technologies and equipment to ensure high-quality production. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmers Branch, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
