**Schedule:** MondayFriday | Variable 1st & 2nd Shifts (based on business needs)
**Pay Rate:** $38.72/hr ($33.79/hr + $4.93 H&W)

These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license._**

As an **Aircraft Painter** at our San Antonio Manufacturing Center, youll play a vital role in transforming aircraft surfaces into precision-finished masterpieces. Your work will directly support the performance, safety, and aesthetics of advanced aerospace platforms.
**What Youll Do**
+ Prepare aircraft surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
+ Mix and apply paint, lacquer, epoxy, and other coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
+ Remove old coatings using chemical removers and manual tools.
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings and DPS specifications to complete assignments accurately.
+ Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
+ Work on elevated platforms and in confined spaces using appropriate PPE and fall protection.
**What You Bring**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 1+ years of experience in aircraft or industrial painting.
+ Proficiency in sanding, taping, mixing materials, and applying coatings.
+ Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
+ Comfortable working at heights and using fall protection equipment.
+ Willingness to work variable shifts based on business needs.
+ Ability to obtain Fall Protection Certification (required for assignment).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 1+ years of experience on military or commercial aircraft platforms.
+ Experience handling hazardous chemicals and solvents.
**Physical Requirements**
+ Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
+ Frequent climbing, crawling, kneeling, and working on ladders or elevated surfaces.
+ Exposure to noise, solvents, and atmospheric conditionsPPE provided.
