Nestle+, encompassing six Nestle Operating Companies in the U.S., is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to join our U.S. Learning and Development team. We're looking for a strategic, future-focused digital learning leader with a holistic mindset and a passion for innovation.

In this role, you will lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide learning solutions that drive digital fluency and build critical capabilities across the organization. You'll bring deep expertise in learning and development, with a strong foundation in instructional design, solution development, and scalable implementation.

You will shape and deliver a learning-led digital strategy informed by business needs, industry best practices, and close collaboration with stakeholders across Digital, IT, and business functions. The ideal candidate is a learning strategist who can translate digital capability into impactful, learner-centered experiences.

Key responsibilities include conducting needs analyses, designing and delivering digital training programs, managing instructional design projects, and facilitating both in-person and virtual learning sessions. You'll work closely with business leaders, HR partners, and fellow L&D professionals to ensure solutions are relevant, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.

Primary responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive digital fluency learning strategy, grounded in needs assessments, stakeholder feedback, and L&D best practices to build broad-based digital fluency and support organizational goals

Create and maintain an annual roadmap for digital learning solutions that aligns with broader L&D and Digital transformation strategies

Contribute to enterprise discussions around digital competencies, proficiency expectations, and development strategies to close identified capability gaps

Stay current with learning and technology trends, digital workplace innovations, and emerging capabilities in the L&D industry to inform strategy and delivery

Needs Assessment & Stakeholder Engagement

Assess and analyze digital learning needs by collaborating with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Digital/IT stakeholders, using data and strategic priorities

Partner with key stakeholder groups (including Digital, IT, and Corporate L&D) to assess, prioritize, and deliver learning solutions that address enterprise-wide digital capability needs and stay informed on long-term digital roadmaps, incorporate relevant trends, and ensure alignment across learning initiatives

Engage with leadership teams when digital enablement or people development initiatives intersect, ensuring L&D strategy is integrated and proactive

Act as a key communication link between the L&D function and internal stakeholders on all matters related to digital learning initiatives

Provide strategic facilitation and consulting to HR and business leaders on best practices for digital learning adoption, trends, and impact

Design & Development

Design and deploy enterprise-scale learning programs that increase digital readiness and competence, leveraging a mix of delivery formats (e.g., live, blended, experiential, and asynchronous)

Collaborate with instructional designers (internal or external) to create high-impact, scalable digital learning content and experiences

Work closely with Corporate and Functional L&D teams to ensure digital learning strategies align with and complement broader enterprise capability-building efforts

Facilitate learning sessions and focus groups (virtual or in-person) to gather learner insights, test new ideas, and co-create digital learning content

Implementation & Measurement

Ensure all digital learning offerings are integrated into enterprise systems (e.g., LMS) and accessible across the organization

Evaluate and measure the impact of digital learning programs using established metrics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement processes

Manage digital learning projects from strategy through implementation, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery

Qualifications:

BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, training and development, organization development, or a related field required.

MS/MA/MBA is preferred.

Position requires up to 15% travel.

5+ years in Learning and Development with emphasis on building enterprise capability building and solution development specific to digital fluency, working across all organization levels.

Working knowledge of digital transformation trends and tools; able to interpret digital needs and align them with learning solutions.

Strong instructional design skills, with experience in both content creation and deployment across various modalities.

Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency with learning platforms and tools (e.g., LMS, digital content libraries, e-learning authoring tools).

Expertise in facilitation, instructional design, and scalable learning solutions

Strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement

Proven ability to lead and implement large-scale, cross-functional projects

Excellent communication and storytelling skills with business relevance

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and innovation mindset

Skilled in simplifying complex concepts and creating learner-centered solutions

Comfortable taking initiative, adapting quickly, and working independently

Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong project and program management capabilities

Effective collaborator with coaching, negotiation, and interpersonal strengths
