Carpenter**

**Job Description**

Carpenters construct, repair, and install structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. Their duties include measuring, cutting, and shaping materials; building frameworks; installing fixtures like doors and windows; and ensuring structures meet safety standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Measure, cut, and shape materials to construct frameworks and structures.

+ Install fixtures such as doors and windows.

+ Ensure all structures and fixtures meet safety standards.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in construction and carpentry.

+ Experience with framing and rough carpentry.

+ Ability to use hand tools effectively.

+ Capability in reading and interpreting blueprints.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with trim-work and finish carpentry.

+ Knowledge of concrete and general labor tasks.

+ Experience in demolition and finish carpentry.

**Work Environment**

Work involves the use of hand tools and physical labor in construction sites. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of Hazard, Kentucky.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
