Machine Tool Builder Electrician

Manpower Engineering is seeking a Machine Tool Builder Electrician to join our Shelby Township clients team. This role is responsible for the electrical assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting of automated machinery and systems used in industrial and automotive applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-voltage systems, control panels, and machine tool wiring in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Wire electrical panels, junction boxes, assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Provide feedback on job status to Mechanical Assembly Leader.
• Perform electrical checkout, debug, and support system startup.
• Assist in disassembly, packing and loading machines for shipment.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Build Leaders to ensure proper system functionality and correct any problems.
• Assist in start-up/de-bug of equipment
• Order material and follow-up with receiving when required.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Journeymans card or Journeyman status preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in panel building, field wiring, debugging.
• Proficient with 480V AC and 24V DC systems.
