Our client, a leader in facility management, is seeking a Jr. Building Engineer to join their team. As a Jr. Building Engineer, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Jr. Building Engineer

Location: San Antonio, TX

What's the Job?

  • Perform maintenance and repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections, calibrations, and cleaning of equipment to maintain high standards of operation.
  • Record readings and make necessary adjustments to equipment for proper functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 0-2 years experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • EPA Certification
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
