Position Summary

We're hiring a full-time Project Engineer to support our growing construction team in Colorado Springs. This role plays a key part in managing and executing multiple active projects by handling contract documentation, procurement coordination, cost tracking, compliance, and scheduling responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage project documents, plans, and files

  • Understand the project scope and ensure it aligns with construction documents

  • Compare and interpret architectural drawings and specifications

  • Coordinate and track submittals against the project schedule to manage material procurement

  • Monitor design updates and communicate impacts on cost and timelines

  • Work with subcontractors to help build and integrate detailed project schedules

  • Support project oversight in areas like quality assurance, jobsite safety, and schedule compliance

  • Handle RFIs and ensure timely responses from the design team

  • Assist in project closeout by compiling O&M manuals, warranty info, as-builts, and punch list items

  • Read and interpret O&M documentation for the end client

  • Regularly visit job sites as needed for hands-on coordination

  • Collaborate with estimating team to develop accurate job costs and pricing strategies

  • Monitor budgets and help forecast margin projections on assigned projects

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant construction management experience or progress toward a CM degree

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specs, and industry standards

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • OSHA 10 certification required



Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 depending on experience and qualifications
