Crane Operator

EMR USA is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a hydraulic crane to safely and efficiently move scrap metal throughout the yard. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a hydraulic crane to load and unload scrap metal onto trucks, trailers, and bins
• Transfer materials safely and efficiently throughout the yard
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety standards are met
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and adhere to operating protocols
• Work independently while contributing to team success

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of consecutive crane operation experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• OSHA/Safety certification preferred but not required
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces)
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
