Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team. The role involves procurement, managing submittals, and overseeing RFI management. You will assist the team with planning and scheduling, work closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, and collaborate with the Project Manager on budget reviews. You will also ensure that costs are correctly coded to the appropriate activity in the field, assist with monthly billing, and track extra work.
Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and scheduling tasks.
- Ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Collaborate on budget reviews and correct cost coding.

Essential Skills
- Construction knowledge (background in civil or utility construction is a plus).
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, contract requirements, and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in project engineering with a minimum of 1 year.
- Proficiency in construction management, project engineering, and change order processing.
- Subcontractor management and understanding of safety regulations.
Work Environment
The work environment involves being on-site 5 days a week with approximately 25% travel between job sites. You will utilize technologies such as HCSS Heavy Bid/Heavy Job, BlueBeam, and Procore. Our projects include site development, underground utilities, concrete and paving, retaining walls, recycling, and rock crushing. We offer a full-service approach from pre-construction budgeting to turnkey site solutions, providing exposure to all phases of construction and development. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
