Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) certification and over 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at independently or collaboratively completing concrete or steel building designs using AutoCAD for government facilities. The role involves occasional site visits, attending client meetings, and managing meeting comments. You will be working on design-build projects to construct small to mid-size projects for federal clients, involving designing, drafting, specifications, structural analysis, proposals, and procurement. Additional tasks include performing engineering calculations, preparing reports, specifications, and data tables, all under the guidance of the lead Architect. Responsibilities
- Complete concrete or steel building designs using AutoCAD.
- Engage in occasional site visits and attend client meetings.
- Handle meeting comments and manage client interactions.
- Work on design-build projects for federal clients.
- Perform engineering calculations and structural analysis.
- Prepare reports, specifications, and data tables.
- Collaborate under the guidance of the lead Architect.
- Structural engineering expertise.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to conduct structural analysis.
- 10+ years of experience in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Experience with Revit is a plus.
- Knowledge in concrete and steel design.
- Willingness to submit to a federal drug and background check.
- US citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
- Willingness to obtain security clearance.
