Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Electrical Engineer with a passion for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design to join our engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the design, layout, testing, and documentation of PCBs for a variety of electronic products. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and layout of PCBs using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, OrCAD).
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop schematics and component libraries.
- Support the prototyping and testing of PCB assemblies.
- Perform basic electrical simulations and signal integrity analysis.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Generate and maintain documentation including BOMs, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
- Work closely with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, etc.).
- Basic understanding of electronic components and circuit theory.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience involving PCB design or electronics prototyping.
- Exposure to embedded systems or firmware development.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-2221 or IPC-A-600.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.
