Project Engineer

Job Description

We are a distinguished mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, pumps, and piping, with extensive projects in Iowa. We are seeking a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role offers opportunities to work on significant projects, including plumbing and mechanical work, with potential for career growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Project Manager to manage and execute project plans.
• Oversee plumbing and mechanical work on assigned projects.
• Ensure document controls are properly maintained and updated.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Support the creation of an office presence in the area.

• Expertise in mechanical, construction, and plumbing project engineering.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in construction management and mechanical engineering.
• Understanding of MEP and project management within construction.

• Data Center experience is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Mechanical HVAC, piping, and plumbing on projects over $10 million.

The role involves working in the job trailer or office with typical hours from 8AM to 4:30PM. Dress code requires work boots, jeans, and an appropriate shirt. You will be part of a smaller firm, providing a close-knit and supportive work environment.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $53.00/hr.
