Project Administrator - Mechanical Construction
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Administrator to provide vital support for a confidential construction project. The successful candidate will manage and track all project documentation and facilitate communication between the mechanical contractor and the General Contractor. This role requires proficiency in Excel, exceptional organizational skills, and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and track all project documentation.
  • Serve as the liaison for documentation between the mechanical contractor and the General Contractor.
  • Assist with payroll, timecards, and ordering materials.
  • Upload RFIs (Requests for Information) and manage submittals.
  • Handle billing processes and change orders.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in project administration and documentation management.
  • Strong skills in Excel.
  • Effective project coordination and administrative support.
  • Experience in payroll and billing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience on large commercial projects is advantageous.
  • Understanding of mechanical trades and construction drawings is beneficial.
  • Billing experience in any industry is required.
Work Environment

The position is based either in a job trailer or office setting, with typical working hours from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The company culture is described as that of a smaller firm, fostering a close-knit working environment. Dress code is casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
