Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Carpenter to join our construction team. This role is ideal for an experienced carpenter who excels in residential and light commercial framing and building. From ground-up builds to remodels and additions, youll play a key role in constructing quality structures with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks with a focus on wood and metal framing
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
Measure, cut, and assemble framing components including walls, floors, roofs, and staircases
Install windows, doors, sheathing, trusses, and other structural components
Build and install forms for concrete pours as needed
Safely operate power tools and hand tools (circular saws, nail guns, drills, etc.)
Ensure work is completed to code and safety standards
Supervise or assist apprentices and laborers on-site
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of carpentry experience, preferably as a journeyman
Strong experience in framing and structural building
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficient with hand and power tools
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
