CNC Router Operator**
**Job Description**
The CNC Router Operator role requires a determined individual interested in helping our business grow by promoting a culture of teamwork, dedication, and superior customer care. **Responsibilities**
+ Operate within a small team and perform various jobs in the shop.
+ Drive a forklift, handle materials, and help unload trucks during slow periods.
+ Route by studying work orders, production paperwork, materials, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
+ Evaluate programs for CNC router equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
+ Process each order per customer specifications.
+ Verify accuracy of parts by adhering to inspection processes set by management.
+ Maintain specifications by observing and taking measurements using tape measures and micrometers.
+ Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot processes, adjust and reprogram controls, sharpen and replace worn tools, and adhere to quality assurance procedures.
+ Complete preventive maintenance requirements by following manufacturer's instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions.
+ Document actions, irregularities, and needs to maintain continuity among work shifts.
+ Inspect parts visually and dimensionally, ensuring quality parts and processes.
+ Adhere to basic housekeeping standards and safe operating procedures.
+ Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
+ Obtain certification or demonstrate willingness to become certified in operating a forklift.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to calculate requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
+ Capability to maintain machines and read blueprints.
+ Experience with CNC routers and related equipment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Woodworking experience could be beneficial.
+ Trade school graduates with a positive attitude and potential are considered.
+ Certification in forklift operation or willingness to become certified.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
