We have a current opening for a Welder in Jonesboro, AR. AtEquix, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceedexpectations with all of our services, which include: Pipeline Construction, GasDistribution, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Facility Construction andFabrication, and Trenching services.

Responsibilities:

Handling projects from organizing workflow to creating schedules and alllogistics with implementing the projectLeading the crews and day-to-day activities with clear communication skillsKnowledge of safe operation of construction equipment and work vehicles usedin underground installation of natural gas distribution piping, power, andtelecom infrastructureLead daily safety briefingsTake responsibility for quality of work, meeting production goals andkeeping records of productionProper care of assigned equipment and reporting any accidents/incidentsAdhere to and promote company, OSHA, & DOT Safety Standards and PoliciesLeading the invoicing process for billing projects on timeSupporting crews by grooming and developing team members for growth andadvancementAbility to use a level and figure elevations etc.Other duties as assignedAbility to travel to different states and different sites

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; welding certificate or training preferred5+ years of welding experience preferredHigh level of proficiency in metal arc weldingAbility to read blueprints and schematicsSteel-toed boots and appropriate safety gearAbility to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shiftPhysical stamina and manual dexterity
