Description

ClearSpan Fabric Structures International in South Windsor CT is looking for an experienced Credit & Contract Analyst. In this position, the successful candidate will assist Sales with contract and credit review for building and greenhouse construction projects including financing programs.

This position requires both positive and effective communication and phone skills. Therefore, a polished and courteous phone presence and presentation is required. As a Commercial Credit & Contract Analyst you will be required to directly interact with Customers, Project Management, Sales Department, and Accounting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and create documentation for credit.
  • Review municipal bids and negotiate contracts.
  • Reconcile invoices.
  • Complete UCC filings.
  • File Mechanic liens and bond claims.
  • Credit underwriting for financing and terms on projects.
  • Liaison between ESAPCO & ClearSpan, the customer and/or distributor.
  • Provide problem resolution in support of contracts and financing.
  • Provide customer service to direct customers, distributors, and third parties.
  • Specialized reporting of various financing programs, as well as a clear understanding of all necessary documentation.
  • Maintain accuracy and complete documentation of customer & distributor financing files.
  • File paperwork, promptly return phone calls, and trouble shoot problems.
  • Create documents for products received per master contract or individual financing program as needed.
  • Process documents when executed copies are received and send counter-signed copies back to clients.
  • Process documents for payment requests to the accounting and credit departments.
  • Update internal logs regularly to keep track of needed funds.
  • Assist year-end financial audit by providing requested documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 3 years' Commercial Financing and/or contract administration experience preferred.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suites. Experience using EPICOR, a plus.
