Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Generate, negotiate and manage NDAs, TAs and other related agreements.
- Solicit proposals from prospective subcontractors and work with the pricing department to analyze cost/price, technical capability and financial viability
- Negotiate and administer FFP, T&M, and CPFF contracts/subcontracts.
- Prepare contract/subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government regulations.
- Monitor and report cost, schedule and status of contracts/subcontractors and make recommendations to management for potential corrective action
- Interface with Project Control Analysts (PCAs) and Accounting Department regarding cost reporting issues
- Serve as the main liaison with Vendor contracting representatives
- Assess Vendor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts
General Contract Management:
- Attend weekly capture meetings and internal standups; assist in task tracking and note taking
- Update Project Portals with project setup or modifications, as necessary.
- Assist in Contracts Directors with department-wide projects
Expectations: This individual should be able to proactively work on their portfolio with intermittent oversight from their supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or related major
- Minimum 0-5 years of contracting experience, Federal contracting experience preferred.
- Experience working with FAR/DFAR, procurements regulations and legal specifications
- Experience with supporting subcontract management teams
- Experience with handling negotiations on behalf of the company
- Experience with Approved Purchasing Systems
- Experience interfacing with internal customers and all levels of organization
- Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn and effectively apply new resources, processes and procedures
Clearance Level: Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a clearance
