Role Expectations: Conduct studies of electrical distribution and transmission systems for generation and load interconnections, grid reliability, and resiliency initiatives. Perform engineering design studies and cost estimations for electrical projects and related deliverables. Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery. Analyze technical data and compile findings into clear, concise, and comprehensive reports. Support multiple project teams by providing technical expertise in electric power systems analysis. Engage with customers to develop project scopes, manage contracts, and ensure objectives related to schedule, cost, and technical requirements are achieved. Lead proposal development and contribute to business growth by identifying new clients and presenting project solutions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and documentation of project outcomes. Foster a collaborative work environment focused on teamwork, innovation, quality, and excellent customer service. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical and critical thinking capabilities. What we're looking for: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 1-4 years of relevant experience preferred, particularly with commercial power system analysis tools such as CYME, Synergi, PSSE, ASPEN OneLiner, PSCAD and PSLF. Strong foundational knowledge of U.S. electricity markets and utility operations. Academic coursework or practical experience in areas including power system studies, circuit theory, renewable energy, steady-state analysis, and dynamic simulations. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Demonstrated flexibility, creativity in problem-solving, and strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills. Preferred candidates will have the potential to develop expertise in power system studies, exhibit technical leadership, and work both independently and within engineering teams.
