Duties include:
- Contribute to and supervise the production of design and contract documents of various building types.
- Coordinate with staff to meeting project goals, objectives, and schedule.
- Assist in project management tasks, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Assist in managing relationships with design consultants, owner representatives, public officials, and review officials.
- Assists with quality assurance reviews of project documents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in architectural design and production, including municipal/public projects.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture
- Prefer someone who is on track to get their license
- Strong background in architectural production, spatial/environmental design, and quality design sensibility
- Exceptional design and technical abilities
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong sketching and freehand drawing skills, with the ability to create quick sketches to convey and sell ideas effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to generate and deliver effective presentations
Our firm comprises 50-60 employees, with a main office in Mountainside, NJ, and a growing office in Boca, FL. The architectural department includes 23-25 professionals. We emphasize employee well-being, with a relaxed working environment. The expectation is to be in the office 5 days a week (40 hours), but we offer flexibility earned over time. Work-life balance is a priority, with rare instances of late working hours or taking work home. Enjoy Summer Fridays from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend with hours from Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm, and Friday, 8am to 12pm.
