Job Description:

Magnolia Engineering is in need of a professional civil engineer (PE) and engineering intern (EIT) with a focus on land development. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering projects in our area, ranging from residential to large commercial and subdivision site development and permitting. Focus will be on stormwater design and modelling, preparation of construction and permit plans, and interfacing with permitting agencies. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and Florida P.E./E.I.T. license in civil engineering, with experience in AutoCAD and stormwater modelling. Salary commensurate with experience. Relaxed work atmosphere and flexible work schedule.

Job Requirements:

Planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.

Preparation and execution of stormwater models.

Conducting engineering investigations, including collection and analysis of data; performing routine calculations; and participating in the evaluation of alternatives.

Conduct site visits to evaluate project conditions.

Compose technical reports, memorandums, and other written communications.

Develop preliminary cost estimates.

Meet project schedules and client deadlines.

Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, subconsultants, and permitting agency review staff.

Handle multiple concurrent projects.
