Civil Engineering Technician
Locations: Denver, CO (Hybrid)
About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Civil Engineering Technician focused on developing innovative water and wastewater infrastructure solutions. In this role, you'll apply your technical skills using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation to support projects involving site grading, drainage, utilities, and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating or modifying design deliverables using electronic tools while following project standards, document controls, and COMPANY procedures.
Prepare site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Civil 3D. Develop plan and profile drawings and utilize pipe/pressure networks and proposed grading surfaces.
Ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant with applicable codes, standards, and the COMPANY Quality Program.
Collaborate with other project teams to reduce design conflicts and support field activities when needed.
Assist in project closeout activities such as compiling as-built records and quantity takeoffs.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies, share knowledge with teammates, and contribute to ongoing improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
Basic understanding of engineering principles and construction practices
Familiarity with CADD applications and electronic design tools
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and contribute to the design process
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Preferred Education & Experience:
Diploma or Certificate in Drafting or Engineering Design (Associate Degree preferred)
Minimum 1 year of related experience in civil or utility design
Experience with water, wastewater, or linear pipeline projects is a plus
