Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in mechanical systems design, proficient in 3D CAD and finite element analysis for heavy/mobile equipment. Requirements: BSME with 5+ years of mechanical systems design experience
Proficient in hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA)
Expertise in one major 3D CAD system: Creo, Inventor, or SolidWorks
Preferred Skills: Experience designing powertrain and engine installation systems
Familiarity with hydraulic and/or electrical system design
Proficiency with ANSYS or similar FEA software
Responsibilities: Create and interpret assembly layouts
Work with weldments and heavy structural equipment
Design for heavy/mobile equipment such as cranes, scissor lifts, tractors, etc.
