Director of Construction | Residential Remodeling & Additions
Southeastern U.S. | Full-Time | $175K+ Total Comp
A well-established, high-end residential remodeling firm is hiring a Director of Construction to take the reins on all field operations. This is a senior leadership position focused on delivering exceptional renovations, managing a high-performing construction team, and contributing directly to the company's continued success and growth.

What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee all active projects whole-home remodels, kitchen transformations, and custom additions
Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, budgets, and gross profit targets
Lead, mentor, and evaluate Project Managers, field supervisors, and support staff
Review scopes, estimates, and contracts to set each job up for success
Conduct routine job site visits to ensure accountability and craftsmanship
Manage permitting, inspections, materials procurement, and subcontractor coordination
Lead punch list and closeout process with the support of the internal team
Work closely with executive leadership to implement process improvements and strategic goals
Monitor financials (WIP, EVA, GP) and drive profitability across all jobs
You're a Fit If You Have:
10+ years of experience in residential construction, including custom or luxury homes
5+ years managing multiple job sites and leading teams in the field
Deep understanding of local codes, permitting processes, inspections, and subcontractor management
A proven track record of delivering high-quality residential projects on time and on budget
Proficiency with project management software such as Buildertrend, Procore, JobTread, etc.
A hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills and a passion for mentorship
An ability to stay calm under pressure and lead through complexity with confidence
Compensation & Benefits:
Total Compensation: $175,000+ annually
Base Salary: $90,000-$120,000
Performance-Based Bonuses tied to gross profit and project execution
