Solar General Labor Job Description Assist with loading, unloading, and staging of materials and tools at job sites. Aid in the installation of racking systems, solar panels, and electrical components. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, while maintaining clean and organized work areas. Responsibilities Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times. Work at heights on commercial rooftops using fall protection equipment. Support electricians and solar technicians as needed. Perform general site cleanup and post-installation tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in using construction, hand tools, and power tools. Experience in solar installation and racking. Knowledge of mechanical and concrete work. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1+ year of construction or roofing experience preferred, solar experience is a plus. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders and rooftops. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Paying $19/hr. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
