As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Auto, you serve as the primary financial leader of the Auto Division, as well as a key business partner to GEICO's finance leadership team. As Auto CFO, you will be responsible for setting expectations for management and delivery of timely financial information including results, forecasting and budgeting, competitive analysis, predictive modeling and performance against key operating metrics that deliver strategic insight on the short-, medium-, and longer-term outlook of the business. The Auto CFO will: Prepare and review material for the management teams of GEICO. Advise and serve as a business partner to the finance and business leadership teams on business strategy, financial strategy, and performance. Lead and monitor financial policies and practices to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, in compliance with all laws and regulations in order to safeguard the company's assets. Accurately compile the division's financial statements. This includes reviewing data provided from departments and ensuring accuracy while meeting deadlines. Challenge operational and financial trends and assumptions, while incorporating strategic assumptions into the annual planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. Work cross-functionally on strategic issues and opportunities facing the company, including the development of a business strategy for sustained profitability and expected financial returns, the introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action. Be seen as a resource in the development of solutions to business challenges. Build agility and resilience within the team and the broader finance organization to drive transformation. Qualifications: Technical / Functional : Accomplished business and finance leader with a consistent record of high performance, financial, strategic and operational leadership across consumer and commercial business segments. Extensive functional experience in corporate planning, business unit finance, strategy, and operations a plus. Excellent analytical, financial, and business management skills with deep understanding of P&L management.
