Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Work Control Planner 3 opportunity in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Per diem is available for those who qualify.
Citizenship: United States Citizenship is required
Work Location: 100% Onsite ? TA-55
Organization/Group: ALDPI/Planning and Reporting (Pit production support)
Schedule: 4/10 schedule, will need to support 24/7 efforts at TA-55. Backshift and night shift are possible. OT and On-Call possible.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Clearance. HRP desired.
Summary:
The Work Control Planner develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area.
Duties:
? Planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures
? Planning duties may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.
Qualifications:
? A bachelor?s degree and at least 8 years of relevant planning experience, 12 years without a degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Software knowledge with CMMS, P6, Excl, and Word
? PPA Certification (desired)
