Your main objective is to ensure our apartments are maintained in great condition which primarily involves completing daytime service calls and nighttime emergency service calls. Eventually you will be responsible for overseeing larger rehab projects at our apartments in Hampden and Berkshire Area. We are a fast-moving, growing company and want to find someone who wants to grow with us. You must be organized,detail oriented, self-driven and results oriented. You must have reliable transportation. Duties:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, and repairing equipment - Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.- Fabricate and install parts as needed.- Maintain accurate records of maintenance.- Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects with external contractors.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and customers in a timely manner.- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications:- Strong background in handyman knowledge. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and logic controllers.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team of maintenance technicians or sub-contractors- Good communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and contractors.- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
