Electrician 4 Job Description As an Electrician 4, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. This position requires travel to client sites and a valid driver's license. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment through inspection, testing, and repair. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and bend wires and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring parts and supplies are organized. Perform laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems and equipment. Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment using hand tools. Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation; tighten connections using hand tools. Essential Skills Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance. Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred. 8-10 years of experience in wiring, troubleshooting, and industrial electrical work. Must be ITAR compliant. Current Electrical Certification or C10 license. Knowledge of 24 Volt, 48 Volt, 120 Volt, and 480 Volt Electrical Systems. Familiarity with VFDs, UPSs, Generators, BASs, and Lighting Systems. Excellent computer user skills, particularly with Microsoft systems. Outstanding communication skills.
