Industrial Electrician**
**Job Description**
As an Industrial Electrician, you will diagnose problems, perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, and maintain and update all process documentation. You will support equipment modifications for process changes, new models, and expansion needs while following all OSHA safety procedures. Your role involves troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment systems. You will install, program, calibrate, and monitor Variable Frequency Drives, Instruments, and systems, and monitor PLC Processor operations. Ensuring equipment is in a safe working condition through the Lock-Out Tag-Out program is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
+ Repair and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
+ Maintain and update process documentation.
+ Support equipment modifications for process changes, new models, and expansion needs.
+ Follow all OSHA safety procedures strictly.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment systems.
+ Install, program, calibrate, and monitor Variable Frequency Drives, Instruments, and systems.
+ Monitor PLC Processor operations and act as directed.
+ Support equipment and operations for Safety and Environmental regulations.
+ Ensure equipment is safe and operational, utilizing the Lock-Out Tag-Out program.
**Essential Skills**
+ Industrial electrician experience.
+ Troubleshooting machinery and electrical systems.
+ Conduit bending and pulling wire.
+ PLC troubleshooting and programming.
+ Preventive maintenance skills.
+ Electrical wiring, blueprint reading, and hydraulics knowledge.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficient in using test equipment such as millimeters, meggers, and oscilloscopes.
+ Knowledge of grounding and shielding requirements.
+ Experience with crane drives and controls.
+ Familiarity with Equipment Lockout/Tagout procedures.
+ Understanding of Electrical Code "NEC" and "NFPA".
+ Experience with high voltage switchgear and transformers.
+ Knowledge of AC and DC motor controls.
+ Ability to troubleshoot all phases of electrical circuitry.
+ Experience working with PLC logic/programs.
