About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform DevOps Lead/Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). This is a hands-on leadership role where you will collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to define cloud-native DevOps strategies and ensure best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) .
• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Spinnaker .
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform , Deployment Manager , or Cloud-native IaC tools .
• Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) .
• Define and implement DevSecOps practices including policy-as-code , security scanning , and compliance automation .
• Monitor systems proactively with Stackdriver , PrometheGrafana , or third-party observability tools.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and capacity planning.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to align DevOps processes with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) networking, IAM, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, Cloud Functions, etc.
• Deep understanding of DevOps best practices , Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong scripting and automation experience with Python , Bash , or Go .
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters , especially GKE .
• Hands-on with IaC tools like Terraform , Ansible , or Pulumi .
• Familiarity with Cloud Security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Experience in logging and monitoring tools Cloud Operations (formerly Stackdriver), Datadog, ELK, etc.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect certification.
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with service mesh tools (e.g., Istio) or serverless architecture on Google Cloud Platform.
