What you'll be doing day to day

Youll help enhance the in-store customer experience by creating a strong visual impression in line with the IKEA Brand.

• Constructing, building, and preparing in-store media to secure range presentation and the IKEA visual identity.

• Reducing the environmental footprint by working consciously with resources and materials and maximizing opportunities to recycle and reuse materials.

• Staying up to date and knowledgeable about carpentry trends to increase quality and efficiency.

JOB TYPE Permanent, Full-Time

HOURS 34-40 hours per week. Must have complete open working availability between the hours of 6:00AM-3:00PM from Mondays to Fridays. (Some weeknights & weekends are required, depending on the needs of the business/special projects.)

The hourly pay rate range for this role is $24.57 - $28.26

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of professional carpentry-related experience

• License and/or certification in carpentry preferred

• Building/framing walls experience is required

• Joinery experience is required

• Painting and wallpaper installation in a professional level on large scale walls experience is required

• Tiling/floor installation experience is required

• Computer proficiency using Microsoft Excel for budgeting/ordering materials is required

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 24.57 USD to 28.26 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
