Summary: Seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with expertise in commercial nuclear projects and proficiency in MathCAD Prime and GTSTRUDL.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience.

  • Strong foundational knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, materials science, and statistical analysis.

  • Proficiency in engineering-based programs such as Mathcad or Matlab.

  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis software and/or techniques.

  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous design verification qualification/certification under 10CFR50 Appendix B QA programs.

  • Ability to perform piping analysis per ASME B31.1 and structural analysis.

  • Knowledge of Steel per AISC Allowable Stress Design (ASD) approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex design and analysis of concrete, steel structures, heavy load components, and equipment supports.

  • Develop conceptual studies, cost planning studies, design calculations, specifications, and seismic analyses.

  • Create 3-D analytical models using FEA techniques and response spectra seismic analysis.

  • Prepare routine and complex design/construction drawings including as-built drawings and field walk downs.



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
