Fire Alarm Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Woods Cross, Utah. The ideal candidate will hold a Utah State Fire License 2 and possess strong skills in fire alarm system installation, with a preference for those experienced in multi-family new construction. This is an onsite role with no relocation, remote, or work-from-home options.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems per local and national code requirements

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure efficient installations

• Ensure all work meets required safety and compliance standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during and after installation

Required Qualifications

• Utah State Fire License 2 (must be current)

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction prints

• Personal hand tools and reliable transportation

• Strong understanding of fire alarm system components and installation techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in new construction, especially multi-family residential projects

• Leadership or job site management experience

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Work Conditions

• Local onsite installation work only. (No relocation, work from home, or remote opportunities).

• Must be comfortable working in active construction environments

• Standard 40-hour work week with occasional overtime depending on project needs
