Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window and Door Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in window and door installation, interior trim carpentry, and basic aluminum brake work. Youll play a key role in upholding the high standards our customers expect while working on residential and light commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Install various types of windows (double-hung, casement, bay, etc.) and doors (entry, patio, storm, etc.) with precision and efficiency.
Perform interior finish work such as casing, baseboards, and crown molding as needed around windows and doors.
Set up and operate aluminum brake equipment to fabricate trim components (e.g., capping windows and doors).
Carry out light carpentry including framing adjustments, wood repairs, and installation prep work.
Ensure all installations are compliant with building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Communicate professionally with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction and resolve any on-site concerns.
Requirements
Proven experience in window and door installation.
Proficiency with interior trim carpentry and aluminum brake operation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Capable of lifting 75+ lbs, climbing ladders, and working in varying weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of tools, measurements, and construction methods.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in window and door installation or finish carpentry.
