Job Description Join an exciting opportunity to oversee the construction of the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL. This project includes the development of 14 turf fields, an ice rink, concession areas, and other administrative buildings. As a Superintendent, you will provide coordination and supervision on both design-build and bid-build projects, collaborating closely with the design team, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise design-build and bid-build projects on sports complex facilities.
- Collaborate with clients, design team, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Build and maintain a jobsite culture prioritizing 'Safety First'.
- Ensure Quality Control and Quality Assurance on all projects.
- Manage daily coordination and logistics of subcontractors on the jobsite.
- Collect, review, and submit shop drawings, product data, and test reports.
- Build and update construction schedules and 'look ahead' schedules.
- Review estimates with operations team to ensure logistical and site considerations are included.
- Author and execute Method of Procedure (MOP).
- Complete daily and weekly reports and maintain a photo journal of project progress.
- Proficiency in ProCore and Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Experience in construction management and supervision.
- Ability to manage schedules effectively.
- 5+ years of experience as a site superintendent on ground-up vertical projects as prime or general contractor.
- Experience in hospitality, K-12, or commercial construction preferred.
- Understanding of civil scope in construction projects, including streets, parking, retaining walls, and utilities.
- Experience in running projects from start to finish.
- Experience as lead superintendent on projects above $30 million is highly preferred.
