About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Concrete Field Supervisor to oversee daily field operations on our concrete construction sites. This role is critical in ensuring that all jobsite activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify crew attendance and readiness for all assigned job sites.
- Inspect jobsite conditions and confirm site readiness (formwork, rebar, etc.).
- Confirm concrete delivery schedule and placement sequence with foreman and project manager.
- Ensure equipment and tools are available and functioning properly.
- Communicate with the Operations Manager to report issues or adjustments.
- Supervise crews to ensure work meets specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with concrete suppliers and truck drivers during pours.
- Resolve field-level issues related to labor, equipment, or site access.
- Track material usage, concrete placement, and labor productivity.
- Provide progress updates to the Operations and Project Managers.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and provide direction as needed.
- Verify completion of daily targets and work areas.
- Perform quality control checks and pre-inspection walkthroughs.
- Confirm punch list or corrective work items for the next day.
- Coordinate with Foreman to prepare tools and materials for upcoming tasks.
- Confirm next-day concrete orders, truck access, and equipment needs.
- Check inventory of consumables and coordinate replenishment.
- Collect batch tickets, photos, and inspection records.
- Complete and submit daily field reports (weather, crew, production, issues, etc.).
- Report any incidents, injuries, or delays to the Operations Manager.
- Review timecards and labor reports for accuracy.
- Ensure the jobsite is clean, organized, and secured for next-day operations.
- Confirm next-day crew assignments and communicate changes to the team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in concrete construction and field supervision.
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- OSHA certification or other safety training.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
