Gate Welder/Fabricator - Steel/Aluminum

Overall Responsibility:
Weld and fabricate custom gate orders, components, fittings, and fabricated fence supplies. Actively maintain working order of the fabrication area, warehouse, and inventory yard. Pull and organize customer orders. Applicants must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) and also will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment and machinery.

Key tasks:
Operate welding equipment in the construction of custom gates. (Aluminum Spool Gun, TIG & MIG Welders.)
Layout and fit custom fabricated products.
Operate power equipment such as grinders, band saws, cutting torches, and others in the construction of custom
Operate forklift
Operate metal saws to cut
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the inventory warehouse, yard, and gate shop
May require overtime including occasional weekend

Skills Requirements:
1 year MIG, TIG and Spool Gun welding experience
1 Year forklift operation experience
Able to read and interperet blueprints, layouts, and technical data
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
Ability to work in hot and cold conditions
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Basic math knowledge
Required to pass internal welding test
Basic machine knowledge/experience a plus (milling, drilling, lathe work, ..)
